Welcome to MyShowroom, a location-based products and services visibility platform with messaging capability designed to give any products the desired visibility it requires to reach the closest audience online. The MyShowroom platform, its related services, website and the mobile application, will collectively be referred to as the “App”. Your access and use of the App is made through a smartphone device (the “Device”).
Boombiz Limited (“we”, “our”, “us”) own and operate the App’s technology known as the “Service”.
By using the App, you may access, view and post content in various forms, such as textual, visual, audio or any combination thereof (collectively, the “Content”).
At MyShowroom, Your privacy is our utmost concern. This privacy policy (the “Policy”) explains our privacy practices for the App, including the ways your personal information is collected and used by us.
The personal information you provide (as described below) depends on your volition and consent. You are not legally obligated to provide or give access to this information, but we do require it to let you use the App.
This policy is incorporated by reference to the App's Terms of Use (the “Terms”) and constitutes an integral part of them.
Our belief of giving users control over sharing and communicating their products and services starting with the people closest to them is the reason why we built MyShowroom. Our philosophy empowers users to make specific decisions as to what information about them MyShowroom can collect and use.
We do collect information to provide a better experience for all of our users, for example when you sign-up for MyShowroom, we ask you for your personal information, your phone number, your email address, the names and phone number of people that are stored on devices that connect to the App or that you send content and information to through the App. Other information collected may include device identification as well as technical data and related information, including but not limited to technical information about your device, system and application software. The App may also collect information regarding what content you send through the App and who you send it to (“Transmission Data”), such as when you send a message, upload photo, or reply to another user’s message. But you decide how this personal information is used and shared through MyShowroom. The App may also use other passive tracking mechanisms and tools to collect information in order to facilitate your use of the App. Furthermore, MyShowroom may collect aggregated non-personal data from all users of the App, such as amount of use, nature of inquiries, etc. (“Aggregate Data”). MyShowroom will only use the Aggregate Data to assess the overall use of the App by users in order to determine how the App is being used and how it and other products can be improved.
Please keep in mind that the nature of the App and services may be interactive, and as part of your use of the App you will be provided the opportunity to share information and content with third parties, including information such as your location. You should use caution when deciding what information and content to share through the App.
MyShowroom does not share personal information about you (i.e., information that can be associated with you personally, but excluding information such as your location which is collected without association with you individually) with any third parties. We may share Aggregate Data with vendors who assist us in providing its products and services; with our affiliated companies, including any parent or subsidiaries of Boombiz Limited. We may share data about end users if we believe it is necessary to comply with legal process (such as a court order, subpoena, search warrant, etc.), or other legal requirements of any governmental authority; if we believes it would potentially mitigate our liability in an actual or potential lawsuit; if we believe it is permitted by law or if doing so will not violate the law; or if we believe it is otherwise necessary to protect our right or property; or is necessary to protect the interests of other users of the App. In the unlikely event that all or part of our business is sold or acquired by a third party, we will transfer such information to the new business owner.
Children below the age of 13 are restricted from making use of MyShowroom. Thus, we do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at helpdesk@support.myshowroomapp.com and we will delete such information from our database within a reasonable time.
